Blue Chip Solar and Wind provides construction supervision and arranges all subcontractor agreements. Our management team has over 3,000 turbine installations of direct and/or oversight experience at sites ranging from desert floors to mountain ridgelines. These installations have included high voltage transmission lines and substations, wind turbines and all related wind power facility infrastructure. 

The voltage levels are typically as follows:

Wind turbine: 480V, three phase

Wind farm ring main: 11kv, three phase

Local grid: 33k or 132 kV, three phase

Main grid distribution system: 132, 275 or 400kV, three phase

Secondary transmission system: 33, 66 or 132kV, three phase

Primary distribution system: 3.3, 6.6, 11 or 33kV, three phase

Local distribution system: 415 three phase or 240V single phase

Permits and Approvals
Blue Chip Solar and Wind obtains all permits and approvals necessary for the construction, interconnection and operation of your projects, achieves site control, performs all preliminary facility design, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract and negotiates the turbine supply agreement.
